This is normally a indication that it has switched to a "fallover pool" Or it has connection issues.

I have not got one yet, But I would check your "pool 2" and see if there are shares submitted there, If not, Check the pool is up or switch to a better pool.

If it has been switching to a backup pool, There is nothing you can do other than taking the sounder off, This would hurt resale value mind, People like to be warned if something is up.

This was a known issue with a lot of S3's.  DL the latest firmware https://www.bitmaintech.com/support.htm?pid=007201407180243004432lBQW28O0633 to your PC, and then use the web admin interface to flash your S3's.

Also there is an option on the Miner Configuration page (where you put your pool info) to disable some of the beeping, but it didn't originally work for everyone.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! I hear you... lol. Yeah I have the same issue with some of my S3's.  I have mine running in a datacenter and I was near one when it went off and bumped my head on a rack. I wanted to chuck it across the room.  The firmware update didn't work for all of them but a few of them. There's another thread (I think the official support thread) where users have taken to covering the speaker with a drop of hot glue from a glue gun or cork to dampen the noise.

Yeah, update to the new S3 firmware available on Bitmain's site. Beeping was a noted issue with the initial release. Make sure beeping is disabled in the webgui menu.
