How hard is it to recover coins sent to address of a different coin? (cryptsy)

Yes we can recover some coins sent in this fashion there are situations where this is not the case. You will get your coins more than likely but yes its slow. As we cannot just hand out the secret keys the coins recovered in this fashion can only be done so by certain individuals. Any automated solutions must be tested thoroughly. Sorry for any delay.

Thanks for your answer. What made me mad was how the timeframes I got were all over the place, I was "promised" this to be resolved in 72 hours initially. I know it was my mistake, but I feel a month is way too long.

The Tier 1 agents don't always know how long these things take. More than likely they believed that to be the case unfortunately this particular issue just takes some time..... We will get you squared away though.
