It's just pathetic.. the longer you wade in this filth the more you have to wonder.

I prob got a phone book sized list of scammy stunts pulled monthly.. and mostly by the same old sleezy greedy douche bags.

this crap got big for a while and now new users have wandered off and many have sold off their graphics cards..
the altcoin scene is devolved so bad i am just kicking back and watching it sink ..laughing because i predicted it almost a year ago.
how far could we lower the bar ? it's been skidding on the ground since last year .

be warned guys..
the opportunity for someone to pull a Gox on you all is high..
and what i mean by that is basically if someone or a site or what ever wants to cash out and leave ?
it's highly likely they will rip someone off on the way out the door.

my reputation ? ..golden.
you see i am not the piece of shit excuse making loser scumbag adding another pebble of shit to the shit mountain.
another clone and yet more support for another clone is helping what ?
nothing that is what..
the clock ticks.. this game is over.. congrats weazles you ruined it (for all of us)

From coin cloners to exchanges to pool operators to greedy coin hopping BTC cash out whores.. you all ruined it
and to make matter worse you hung around making stupid excuses for it all while doing it.
ohh ohhh Doge coin brings in new users.. ya greedy scummy morons.. marvelous just what we needed  Roll Eyes

kinda funny how we have some a cocky collection of smart ass blow hard who all think they are sooooooooo fucking smart
yeah reality shows us your all fucking idiots lol

And you usual guys know i know that you know that i know and i can out dozens of you for your latest scam stunts pulled in just the last few weeks alone..
never mind that last 8 months worth of the same sleazy scumbags doing shit endlessly.

ya ya Conspiracy eh BitJohn And iGotSPots.. yaaaa right  Roll Eyes
watch as you user base dissolves because of YOUR fucking stupidity lack of morals, class, integrity and Greed.
drain the morons dry while you can can "smart" guys, because it won't last long Wink

i think i will go back to reading about today's flavor of the day coin clone battle where 99.99% of random anon shell accounts bicker with one another lol
i couldn't even imagine how many accounts some of these scamming lying thieving cloners have lol
and i have no interest in being apart of a forum that allows scammers to scam with as many accounts as they want.. yet you all have no problem with it ?
sad..

Karma will extract its revenge trust me.. it's the circle of life Smiley

I voted yes. too many scams. Its sickening.

I can pull off a number of scams so amazing that they would make the Asiacoin + Visacoin + Libertycoin Scams look like amateur hour. But here I am, grinding out satoshis day in and day out the honest way, while scumbags get rich pulling off the most childish scams.

The criminals are winning, I might just throw up the white flag and stick with fiat.

I am just glad you speak your mind, I bet you just about freak out in the supermarket when everything you pick up is just more gmo food in a different colored box with a different name.

Please tell us when things were different here?

Edit: I voted yes too, but some time ago I chained myself to it, and ya the criminals are winning.

Well among the votes I voted no. I trade a lot of alt coins gaining a lot more BTC then just trading on BTC or mining it. But when it comes down to coins that are legit I would agree to leave the alt world given the fact theirs so many scams going right now and you need to know your way around alts to make sure your not court  up in the loop of them and losing out. Not to mention the amount of coins that are coming out and currently out right now. Theirs too many of them and people just making them to get a stack of money from them while others suffer the moment they goto exchange. Jut like the pre mined crap coins that come out . Claiming they keep for good reasons and to give back to others for bounties and half the time they just dump them on exchanges and gain from it and leave.. Other than that alt coins can be good providing you get on the good ones and not bad and right now theirs about 80% of them that are bad and its getting beyond a joke.

Karma is a bitch... I got taken by a few small rip off's amounting to less than 30 bucks, but my luck IRL has been awesome as of late. The thief's will suffer, and suffer when it hurts the most, karma seems to work that way, And good Karma to the rest that try to play fair, share, help out, and do the right thing in general. Not everyone sucks! but to those that do... a hearty FUCK YOU from all the good people to you! CHOKE ON IT!

I voted yes

well a huge issue is do you all know what goes on ?
some of you do.. some guys have been around here a LONG time.
and they know..
they also know that it's the same guys who are getting worse and worse with their behavior.. it's out of control !
what i think it boils down to is scumbags pile on little pebbles non stop so no matter how bad a scammy stunt is
it's forgotten and covered up by the next scammy stunt by the next guy the next day and so on..
and then it gets worse because it's been a battle of scammers for ages with these crews of scammers competing for attention *daily
and each one has to up the anti higher and higher to steal back attention from their competing scammer..
devolving the scene more and more.. sinking us ALL lower and lower.
they overwhelm us all with scammyness so hard and so unrelenting that it's pointless to even resist it.
you bitch about one coin say being put out with Fake "Proof Of Stake" and they will dump 10 more coins on your before you can hit submit on your complaining..

if many of you newer guys had seen the ties that stretch around you would know what i am saying.
all this crap is just a joke and i can't even take it seriously anymore.

My advice to sincere legit coin devs etc is to simply avoid this forum and the usual shit hole scammer exchanges etc.
Placing your currency in with all this scammy garbage is just going to make your legit currency look bad.
and no i wouldn't call 99% of this digital ponzi scheme crap a currency.

they are simply trying to make money off of Github.. copy paste clone pump dump rinse repeat.
then mix in a variety of sleazy and corrupt stunts and bullshit from coin devs exchanges pool op's etc and it's nothing but rampant corruption.

If i created a new topic for each scammy stunt i would have as many posts as this forum has right now.. it's endless.
and these same weazles are here 24/7 and their not going anywhere, they are only going to get more and more sleazy
until they decide to leave and rip off some people on their way out the door.

i didn't notice how bad it was when i realized i calculated at best i could make a $1 a day mining scammy clone coins at www.ipominer.com
i tried doing it on and off for a bit to try it out briefly little while back..
then i realized know what ? i don't pay for electricity how little are the other guys making ? do they owe money after mining ?
couple months ago my Radeon 7950 was getting around $10 a day at it's peak i think lol
i sold off my 7950 other day for $150 and i got it for $199.
aside from a little bit of cpu mining with JPC i am out and done i think.

they came.. they were disgusted and they tried to make us much money as they could and the left.
this is not about currencies.. this is about draining the next batch of moron noobs.. separating idiots from their money.
if that crowd Doge coin was atrracting were actually interested in supporting their so called community they would have all kept their GPU's and stayed.
For ages all i have heard is how they are all making nothing and sold of their cards and are getting out.. because they are here to make money and that is !
There is no "community"
it's a greedy SELFISH free for all until the cops ruin the party.. then the little scummy shits will scatter !

All this shows is that it requires a high level of expertise to operate in unregulated financial markets, amateurs (helicopter fiat tokyoghetto lol) need not apply.

If you try to ride the lightning with the r0aches in search of the big bucks, you're gonna crash like thunder.

it would have been worth sticking with BUT the users let the scene devolve.
little of what goes on these days would fly a year ago..

i have been asked lots why do i do this etc.. and i always say because it was not like this when i signed up.
Scammers got out of hand and blatant and ballsy about it all and their supporters just keep shoveling their excuses.
and many of these guys i know are behind coins right now that were noobs giving me i made BTC excuses last year etc.

a bunch of these guys told me last year they mine EVERY coin that comes out just in case and YOU ALL ganged up on me any time i said that is scammy.
and now what has happened ? you all noticed i was right and what that led to is more coins being cloned at a faster and faster rate.
and some of the guys that said this to me are now pushing coin-clones them selves .. all the while cooking up excuses.

fine.. drown in your filth and karma will bit you in the ass trust me Wink

lay down with dogs ? ..you get aids scammers lol

i hope many of you and your backroom buddies get jail time.
people in the stock exchange do a small minute fraction and get hard time.
i will smile ear to ear if i heard Cryptsy or what ever were raided and arrested fro fraud and ponzi schemes etc lol

I've been trying to keep up with the death of altcoins; topic is here.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=588413.0

It's relevant to this thread because, what I'm seeing whenever I get around to doing postmortem investigations ....  at least half of these are transparent, obvious scams.

Altcoins are a negative-sum game.  That is, the people who trade in them, mine them, etc, are spending more money, as a group, than they are making.  The miners are spending money on GPU cards and electricity; The traders are in a zero-sum game where every win implies an equal and opposite loss on some other trader's part; and the scammers are raking money off the top of this sinking pool. If we accept that the scammers are making money and the miners are covering expenses, that means everybody else, on average, is losing.  Maybe they make money on a particular day, like a lucky gambler - but in the long run, just like the gambler. the odds are against them and the house gets richer as, on average, the gamblers get poorer.

The only way out of 'zero sum game' is a cryptocurrency that, in the long run, continues to gain in value.  So far well over 90% of the altcoins ever launched, are dead already and the remainder don't seem to be showing long-term upward trends.

Anyway; because the above is my basic analysis and belief, I've never yet bought altcoins, nor mined them, because I expect that is a money-losing proposition on average.  I follow the news because of an interest in the technology and I've been looking for / waiting for technological advances.  But I haven't identified any advances likely to result in a positive-sum altcoin.

Couldn't agree more...

Albeit this started shortly after the creation of GLD in mid May of 2013. Someone started a standard pump/dump and we stopped him and took over the coin. This led to massive amounts of alt clones being created shortly after which set the precedent for what you see today.

The worst part is that the only reason they are successful in doing what they do is because of rich kids with too much of their parents money investing absurd amounts of money in absurd coins and ventures.

What's even worse is that they take both attention and funds away from projects that actually deserve it.

That's the free market + chemtrailed nawbs for you.

I honestly know the entity behind most of this.. he is on my hit list and I will deal with him post the release of the new GLD client I am working on (coded from scratch).

My opinion is there are alot of people that want to make money. Your are really getting people from all walks of life, people are recognising this medium and at the very least they are enjoying a new way of living. There are always bad and good people in all industry and all sectors. My main point is that I rest easy at night knowing crypto is a beautiful path and a new way of living. The attention we are receiving is amazing.

99% of altcoins have one purpose only and that is to make money for the developers? I personly think alt coins should never of become open source then real innovation would be pushed forward, it's just too easy to clone a coin and create a BS marketing campaign instead of creating and developing something better.

BUT Alt coins IS the cutting edge of digital currencies, giving up on it is giving up on Bitcoin.

The only new coins I can see are, Bitcoin, NXT, Qora and Exocoin.  The rest can fuck off they are all clones.

I don't understand you guys.

You all wanted a descentralized, unregulated monetary system. This is what happens.

Are you all living in a different world from mine ? This is the human nature at it's best ( worst ).

This is what "no laws" means.

Do not forget that everytime you cash out some bitcoins to "real money", someone had to put that money to the system.

Like a wild west gold rush, some will get rich, some will get killed, most will get nothing, most will loose their investment and time.

See this as a game. Don't put more in the system that you would put on a xbox and a few games. Play the game and enjoy it Wink

They want decentralized and no laws, so long as they make money. When people lose money, they all of a sudden want the opposite. Many people may have made tons of money on 'scam/junk' coins in the past, but people become hypocrites and decide certain junkcoins are now evil, when things go sour. It's sort of human nature.

I'm all for exchanges being more restrictive (or picky may be a better word), more information being available, and ideally less scams/junkcoins out there. But polls, forum posts, people complaining, won't matter. If you don't like it, a person can leave. It really is up to the exchanges as to if they want to police themselves or not.

The game analogy is how I look at it. When I started with cryptos about 5 or so months ago, it reminded me of old fashioned stock market simulator games. I put in pretty much exactly what a video game would cost (<$40), figuring this is way too volatile, way too shady, to put real money into. And it's sort of fun that way. Plenty of ways to still make money using freebie coins/giveaways, with no real risk.

Shady exchanges always concerned me more than the coins themselves. At least for shady coins, you can usually figure out most are shady to begin with, or at least which are the least shady. While exchanges can go down at any moment with no recourse.

If anyone invests real sums (10s of thousands), they must realize the risks ahead of time.

It's just pathetic.. the longer you wade in this filth the more you have to wonder.

I prob got a phone book sized list of scammy stunts pulled monthly.. and mostly by the same old sleezy greedy douche bags.

this crap got big for a while and now new users have wandered off and many have sold off their graphics cards..
the altcoin scene is devolved so bad i am just kicking back and watching it sink ...................
