So now we have a sudden wave of volatility as a result of this coin auction?

The beauty:

More publicity for bitcoin, so much more legitimacy, so much more association with 7-9 figure amounts (in dollars!)

The ugly:

These coins were stolen from someone, who allegedly made them by facilitating people to voluntarily trade with one another.

My advice:

Ride the waves, don't get burnt, and remember this beautiful currency is something you want to have more of, not less! Just be careful.

Don't let them scare you.
