Peter Thiel  an  entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and hedge fund manager, founder of PayPal,facebook's angel investor and the list goes on.

I just would like to know what is his opinions and thoughts about cryptocurrencies, on the one side he is libertarian but he also founded Palantir systems which is a data mining company and may be even helping NSA.

He is the core member of Paypal mafia..

I think his take on bitcoin is really an important because he really believed people should transact value easily across globe, but i could not find any stuff about peter thiel commenting on cryptocurrencies...please share if you know any?

what are your thoughts?

Given the manner in which PayPal has situated itself in the payment space this is a slightly ironic quote no doubt.
Regardless, when perusing the history of PayPal I really do admire the aspirations, but those dreams clearly hit a glass ceiling. Any centralized effort as such is shackled to the state to an extent, and there is only so far you can reach when there are millions of people living in sanctioned regions that PayPal could never touch with a 10 foot pole.

and that's just the tip of the iceberg really...

Paypal vision could not be fulfilled by a centralized system. Every centralized system is prone to corruption, governmental control and abuse. Rather than having weaknesses, it is a weakness itself and a single point of failure.

I think not having all your eggs in one basket might be the most overused cliche of all time when it comes to money... and I also think it would be wise to remember here.

We should not idealize this world where there is only one way to pay... or only one currency. That's too much power concentrated into a single instrument. Diversification is the nature of life and what money should also seek to model. It needs to evolve and fit where it makes sense to and not try to fit where it doesn't. Bitcoin makes sense in certain contexts but not in all contexts, and that certainly doesn't infer that the latter is inferior.

The currency ITSELF must be honest, not just the payment network. Amazingly, Bitcoin achieved both.
