I know that this is Nautiluscoin, but I thought it was pretty cool.  I'd be interested to know if you think we will start seeing more of this.  Maybe the Bitcoin logo will be seen at Wimbledon next year  Wink

Good propaganda. Hope more sports will be sponsored by BTC which will gain good social influence.

I have heard of him, but only because he was on the UFC video game on Xbox... He was a contender a few years ago.

Ignorant people REALLY need to stop using the word First, there are not that many low hanging "firsts" to be had. I remember one week I saw 12 different "First" US bitcoin atm posts...
The Sacramento kings and the Jamaican bobsled team came before this MMA fighter, and I am sure there are others.

The Kings were the first major franchise to announce that they will accept bitcoin.

The Bobsled Team, and Josh Wise, both used Digital currency to raise funds directly from fans  in lieu of sponsorship. While fans were able to support them with bitcoins, they got nothing in return, so it was a donation, not sponsorship.

None of the above were sponsorship contracts, hence Jon Fitch is the first to be sponsored by and paid in digital currency.

People who don't know what the word sponsorship means, REALLY need to stop calling others ignorant Smiley
