I know it won't work on Scrypt currencies like Litecoin. I'm wondering specifically about the other sha256 currencies. I'm testing one out to see, but I'm 77 weeks behind on the blockchain, so I said screw it, I'll just ask =p Plus, for all I know, there are mining differences even within the sha256's.

Yes they will work on other sha256 altcoins.  I have mined many different ones with my blades and antminers.

Yeah, you can mine whatever SHA-256 coin that's out there with Bitcoin miners.

In addition, you can still mine scrypt/x11/x13/vert with your GPU if you're just plugging in a few USB ASIC miners.  I haven't tried running a cpu miner like minerd at the same time but my guess it'll work too since it can run concurrently with a scrypt/x11/x13/vert miner without the USB ASIC in the mix.
