If you want to get revenge that means you have anger and resentment at that person that screwed you.  That's letting them rent space in your head.  Move on, don't go down to their level, forgive them because no one is perfect, including you.

This is how I feel about "revenge," but that doesn't mean that if there is some legal recourse for someone doing something bad to you that I would let it go.  If there is something you can do to make sure someone else doesn't get injured like you did then you should pursue that.

Karma is the best way to serve revenge. They will eventually get what is coming to them.
