An extra $100 over the X1 kinect releasing after the console version failed miserably. Oh and zero games announced with it, oh boy.

Might be cool for developers but from a consumer standpoint this is overpriced junk the console gamers already rejected.

So they didn't want normal people to get mad, so they overpriced it so devs could get it, write games/apps for it, and then they will drop the price for normal retail?

They haven't even taken advantage of it for the xbox, why would they for the pc? Even my 10 year old nephew outgrew the kinect, as he got tired of it not working right. I never saw the point to it myself. I can click a button faster than yelling out a phrase repeatedly or move my arms/hands in a certain way.
