Lost funds on BTC-E

Hello
A friend of mine was part of the BTC-e victims.
He had 3.5BTC that he deposit to BTC-e then exchanged to LTC.

Now BTC-e are operating as https://wex.nz/ , he is trying to get back his LTC.
He does not have the wallet address of LTC since he didnt deposit LTC or withdraw LTC from there.
Hey only has the BTC wallet. the support gave him only the left overs from the trade of BTC/LTC

did anyone by any chance deal with same situation ? or has any recommendations how he can get something back?

well, u might know the answer.

the funds are gone.

that are the risks of exchanges. nothing is regulated. so in the worst case all your money is gone.

only deposit funds for trading. everything elese -> cold storage

Absolutely, I was just wondering if anyone had this issue also, I found out that BTC and LTC funds were gone almost.
