Will these fit side-by-side in directly adjacent slots? I think it was Koolance's fail blocks that are almost as thick as the stock cooler, but I don't know whether DD has this limitation. I know EK blocks fit OK into adjacent slots.
From my knowledge, you can use danger den block with an SLI adapter, but you need to use the enclosed spacer to make a tight fit. And EK blocks fit close, but its a tight fig for adjacent slots. I find that its best to use 2 slot per card.
Mining doesn't need SLI
I think the hardest part about fitting them side-by-side will be connecting the hoses. That is why I was considering 1 DD, then 1 EK, then 1 DD, then 1 EK, and so forth down the line. So then the connectors would be offset from each other.
If AMD didn't have their fecking driver limit, I wouldn't be so hesitant.
This is an SLI water pass through, not a SLI connection.
Someone on this forum once told me that the EK and DD blocks are incomparable and for a solid passthrough connector, they are correct. But if you are spacing the cards like your would have to if they are air cooled, you have enough room to use a piece of tubing. (Once tried to use a 3 slot spacer bent in a pipe bender to so an "S" type thing. Attaching to card one, No problem. Card two......hehe, design flaw)
