Hey everyone ! , I always thought that owning a cryptocurrency magazine/ news website and helping keep the community informed and educated of on-goings  would be really cool !

The magazine would have a nice slick design and focus on Bitcoin as well as meaningful altcoins. Note "meaningful" so we would not report on pump and dump , scam coins etc.

Unfortunately, running a magazine such as this is very time consuming. I don't have the time to run such a site actively on a day-to-day basis Sad .

So I am looking for a partner. If anyone is interested here is my proposal.

I will provide you with a nice Wordpress theme, hosting. I may also provide a small amount of funding to get people to start writing articles.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site and have full control of articles you wish to write and others write. However, we will  both have an input in the long-term running of the site and content we wish to focus on and where to re-invest earnings.

I will give you advice on how to get more traffic, manage the Ads and finance on the site.

We will create a joint blockchain.info wallet where we will both be able to login and view our revenues/costs. We will split profits 51/49. 51% me , 49% you.  Each month we will decide on what percentage to take as dividends and how much to leave for re-investment.

Ideally, the person will have some experience running a publication or just writing articles, but this is not  too important. Your English must be great as you will be writing articles etc and to compensate for my shitty English Wink . Trust is earned over time but someone with a reputation of being trustworthy within these forums would be appreciated. Finally, you must have a true love for CryptoCurrencies !

If your interested or have any questions , shoot me a PM Smiley

Please don't spam if not interested. BTW I would have time to run the site , just not micro-manage on a day-to-day basis. More than enough time to give partner advice, guidance etc. As well as managing ads etc.

I am not spaming at all.  I am just curious as to why you would want to start a magazine that already exists.

Edited to add:
Also, this is your very first post here (at least under this ID).  Why should anyone even consider your proposal as something credible and worthwhile?

Their are many crypto magazine/news sites ... You can't just say because X competitor exists you should not start one. That's like saying we have USD why start Bitcoin ? A currency already exists right ?

Ofcourse our magazine will have a USP that differentiates it from the bitcoinmagazine experience but I rather not say, especially to someone who seems to be a bit cynical to the idea.

Unless your interested in partnering , I won't be replying to your posts. This is the sort of discussion to have on launch if you are not satisfied with the magazine. Not when I'm searching for partners.

Bitcoinmagazine is not just a site, it is an actual publication that can be subscribed to, and received in the mail.  They actually produce printed issues.  It is slick, and rather well done.

I would think that anyone interested in "partnering" with you on this would want to know the answer to the questions I have asked.  I am in no way cynical at all.  I am certain that there are many people who have read, or will be reading your post, who will have the exact same questions.  If you can't answer these simple questions, then that is something the readers of your post will also want to know.

BitcoinDream ... Sure. Excluding the cost of hosting + wordpress theme etc it would probably be anywhere upto 0.25BTC although this is somewhat negotiable.

No, The partner would not get any capital upfront. I'm not hiring someone to write articles i'm looking for a partner.

An additional 0.25 BTC may be provided to pay for other costs possibly but not limited to article writing.

What would be the revenue sources and how the partner will know the earnings from those networks if they are in FIAT ?

fair question. Initially revenue will be from selling adspace on the site. All revenue will be in BTC and be in the shared blockchain.info wallet. No fiat revenue Smiley .

Would u do the same business if I just turn the table. That is I'll have domain, do site setup and u'll just write articles for the same share ? I'll also provide adsense for FIAT revenue if ad blocks are not sold Smiley

So you get 51% of a project which someone else manages day to day? And you are providing.... a WP theme, hosting and 0.25 BTC +- for articles? I think you need to reconsider those figures, the fact is if someone takes this on they're unlikely to be a good option, for what you've offered, they may as well do your part themselves.

Alternatively if you are going to be involved throughout you need to stipulate exactly what you're bringing to the table imo if you want serious interest.

Hey, fair question. I would help advise the partner. Give them guidance. I would also manage ads, finance etc. I don't want to stipulate exactly what I am putting on the table as , the "wants" of one partner will vary from another. So in that sense I am pretty flexible. I simply don't want to be involved in the day-to-day management of writing articles etc.

If you don't do shit, and you pay your parter, he's not a partner, he's an employee.
