Alright, then I post this here. It's a few days ago, but I could not find the official thread.

I am wondering where this comes from, I have seen it in other new exchanges, too.

How do you explain this?

It makes trading ... impossible.

What do they have to do in their code to repair this nonsense?

You simply need to refresh, it is just a very rare UI issue that tends to happen when the market is very fast moving.

EDIT: I must also add, this was back from when we first added MZC, we have since fixed a few things to improve it.

A Python wrapper for your API would be lovely.

Take this as inspiration:

Another option would be to fork this
BTCE https://github.com/alanmcintyre/btce-api

because there are already versions for
BTER https://github.com/hsharrison/bter-api  and
CRYPTSY https://github.com/hsharrison/python-cryptsy

Apparently, they're getting DDos-ed. Logins have been disabled temporarily to protect users, but the price ticker still works fine-ish.

Mintpal,
what about - step by step, library by library - opening your sourcecode?

Make the exchange software ... open source.

It might feel painful in the beginning, or even embarassing,
but over time, you'll become the safest exchange of them all.

I made a new version of that Poloniex API wrapper,
with two more functions, and some bugs fixed:
