Members who list their coins for sale have peace of mind that they instantly get held in by escrow system that ensures their funds are held securely while the money transaction takes place.

Through our rewards system, you'll climb the ranks of the community and earn rewards as you continue to earn greater discounts on listing fees. It’s always free to buy, and selling fees start at 0.9% and go as low as 0.45%.

We would love to hear your feedback, suggestions and input as we will constantly be evolving and changing with the cryptocurrency platform.

Just sent some coins to try out. Looking forward to my first trade.

Few things that popped out at me for constructive feedback Smiley

Market Rate Updates
"Market rates are converted to your local currency and are updated every hour."
So if i post an ad at CoinJar's market rate, for example, the prices for my ads are only updated every hour? Please explain... At the top of the hour? or every hour from when i post the ad?

Confirmations
8 confirmations to confirm coins are in account??(for BTC) Most sites use 6. i get 3 with LB. Is there room to reduce this?

Marketplace Search Defaults
Is it possible to Set it to default to BTC only? i don't Alt. It's really annoying I have to keep selecting BTC whenever the Market page is refreshed. Is it possible use a direct url to set the default search parameters? e.g. https://coinsect.com/Marketplace#search=btc

Link to Terms of Service
https://coinsect.com/Marketplace/Create#
I agree to CoinSect's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
should link to terms of service.

Denying Trades
Is it possible to post ads that denies trades with fresh accounts? I know there isn't many member yet and we should encourage trade, but from my experience from LB, fraudulent traders are always about and I need some sort of ability to stop the trade if I so wish.

Error when editing Payment
I was trying to post a Payment type:
Code:
CASH deposit at an ANZ or St George branch is accepted. Online deposits available for returning Buyers.
Bank details available upon request:
11qg11+cs@gmail.com

LB profile: https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/QuiveringGibbage/

I got this error: The field Notes must be a string or array type with a maximum length of '200'.
I assume I can only have a max. of 200 characters. You might consider changing the error to "Maximum 200 characters in length".

Starting and Stopping Ads
There is no way (that i could find) to stop/suspend ads. I have to cancel it and create a new one. From scratch.
Is there a way to save ads?

Withdrawing Concerns
Shouldn't it require 2FA to withdraw funds?
The Transaction ID link takes me to https://coinsect.com/Wallet/Withdraw# , shouldn’t it take me to that Tx at blockchain.info are some other blockchain site?
Format display not right. https://coinsect.com/Wallet/Withdraw# Displays Withdrawal History at the bottom of the page. It's not formatted right, is ugly.
Look like this:

Balance does not include Withdraws Pending Confirmation
After I withdrew BTC, my balance was still showing as tho I hadn't withdrawn any BTC. I assume it's because the the Withdraw status is still Pending Confirmation. But the Balance should really reflect the actual total as it's misleading.
BTW, how long do withdraws take?  whatever it is, it's too bloody long.
* QuiveringGibbage still waiting for his coins to hit the blockchain. 20mins still waiting..

That's all for now.. Smiley

Cheers,
QG

oops.. i miss the email withdraw confirmation thingy.. silly me. Withdraw finally Queued. and not on the blockchain!! yay!! Smiley

more feedback...

Time Displayed
what time is displayed for the time stamps? i.e. it's not in Sydney time.
08/06/14 09:55 AM  <-- timestamp should be 19:55 Sydney time so what time is it displaying?

Referral System
Consider a referral system that earns the referee a portion of the fee the referrer trades with.

Cheers,
QG

Thanks QG for the feedback, I have replied to your feedback below in green.

There is a job that runs approximately every hour that processes the prices from all supported exchanges for all supported currencies, there are some complex calculations that take place, and the prices will be updated a few minutes after. The reason it is every hour is, as you know a marketplace does not have the same volume of an exchange, the goal here was to have the prices reflect the true market prices, every hour is working well for us at the moment.  If this is something important to you we can look at a visual indicator, which will let you know when the prices will be updating

Marketplace Search Defaults

Yes, there is room to reduce this being a new exchange we needed to mitigate as much risk as possible, and this was the only way. We do however email you soon as your funds are cleared. We will be looking at reducing this in the future but we want to finish adding a few more currencies before we do so.

We do https://coinsect.com/buy/bitcoin/australia

Thanks we will add this.

We definitely have something like this in the pipeline, closely tied with our ranking system, we understand it can be quite a tricky place to sell, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to sell without any worries.

Yep we will fix this up, thank you for raising it.

We don’t have anything like that at present, but it’s a great idea.

Withdrawing Concerns
Shouldn't it require 2FA to withdraw funds?

We are working on something to give you control on what parts are and are not 2fa enabled. Currently we confirm via email, and if you are not already logged in you will be required to log in with your 2FA code (if enabled).

We will take a look, so this isn’t as confusing and the totals are clear, really appreciate the feedback.

That's all for now.. Smiley
