Looking for some peeps to team up and fix this problem.. There are several things we can do but I like the idea of creating an organization that DEV's can register at to verify their ids.  We can issue them seals or some sort to use on their website and ANN threads.

We can create a public DB to verify these seals/coins/devs.

Sure.. not all devs will want to be identified.  But some of us honest DEV's will not mind.

Sometimes you come to a new thread with new coin - clearly scam, but a bunch of enthusiastic post, too much GH/s, large volumes on the exchange at the start. Until people stop to participate in it - base will not help.

It will not work. It's shit to see so many fake devs with their bought coins, but there is nothing we or btt can do.

People just need to do research before investing, if they invest in a scamcoin and they later lose a lot, then it's their fault.

There are so many guys looking for a super quick profit, and that's all they can think about, they don't see or don't wanna see the risks.

I think it is a great idea.  It is not fool proof but getting a verified DEV status would help mitigate some risk and if people are still playing the lottery with anonymous revs, you have done what you can.
