"Hi!
Yesterday evening, BitMain, the maker of the AntMiner S3, an item you have on order from our company announced that the AntMiner S3's that are in fabrication did not meet the guidelines for hash rate as provided on their website. As per their statements, the miner is more likely to get about 440 GH/s as opposed to 480 GHs, or whereabouts.
Because of this, BitMain has decided to offer compensation to those that ordered from the factory, including my company.
Because of this, you are entitled to a refund of $37.50 (7.5% off) USD per miner you ordered if you choose to keep the miner on order. Or we can refund your entire purchase price. As per their statements, the S3 should overclock to 480+ GHs, but that is no longer the advertised average, at least on this batch of miners.
If you'd like the rebate to be automatically applied to your order, PLEASE REPLY TO THIS E-MAIL. Just let me know that you want the $35 applied to your payment type, and we'll get that worked out immediately. If you'd prefer a full money-back refund, we can do that as well.
If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know. BitMain is still on track to ship the AntMiners to us on or around the 19th of this month.
Thanks!"
