Which wallet is the best and why?

Use MultiBit or Electrum for daily use! If you want to keep your coins safe for a long time and don't need to move them regularly, put them in a safe paper wallet or some other offline storage. Visit bitaddress.org for example! They're a great site!

Which wallet is the best and why?

Running a full node with Bitcoin Core (aka. bitcoin qt) is the best, not only to you but also to the whole bitcoin project.

Which wallet is the best and why?

blockchain.info for the online wallet
it has BTC address, password and activation email when you registered
you back up the wallet if you forgot the password
you can add BTC address to receive BTC from the others
thanks

No it's not. Actually if you don't know what you are doing you are harming the network...

I think that the blockchain.info wallet is good if you will need to be accessing your wallet from multiple computers/devices. All you need is the identifier and the password and you are set at whatever (safe) device you are on.

If you only need to use the wallet on one computer then multibit is probably best as it is very user friendly and is more or less idiot proof.

Multibit. It makes performing Bitcoin transactions quick and simple, it comes in a variety of languages because Bitcoin is without borders, it is free to download and is open source (MIT license), it is easy to install.

I suggest Electrum and blockchain.info wallet, as both of the two wallets are very easy to set up and use. Smiley

Electrum has been my favorite wallet so far for ease of use, looking forward to using DarkWallet when it gets released for Firefox!

Would probably say Armory for being one of the most secure wallets.

I think offline wallet is better than online wallet. Offline wallet is safer than online wallet. There is always a chance of been hacked on online wallet. If your wallet is hacked than you will lose all of your money.
