I got two antminer S3's about two weeks+ ago, and since then I've had problems with one S3, it will run at 430-440/ghs for 10+ hours, but after a while it drops to 360/ghs then finally settles on 180/ghs and stays there, it's only fixed by hard-resetting the unit, then back to 440/ghs and repeat, requires you to reset it every 12 hours to maintain speed :C

My other S3 runs 440-450/ghs flawlessly both powered with a 750w Dell server PSU with breakout board.

both are updated to the current firmware... should I contact my seller about a replacement? or is there a method to solve this problem, the firmware update seemed to solve it for a few days but now it's back to inconsistent speeds. They're in an AC'ed space and have adequate power.

Any Ideas :C

Does it gain x's on the miner status page?  You may have a victim of terrible thermal paste handiwork.  Many people have had problems with the thermal paste on the heat sinks.
