We must be sure that a coin does the right thing. Real anonymity is a true enhancement, I've checked what was done with darkcoin; And the choices done, can't go anywhere. And when we read the official thread the 20% fee is the main, and only interest, for a lot of posts.
Anyway a good implementation can be done using a tor like network operation, and using a modified POS scheme to mix the coins.
The current implement ion is centralized, and the anonymity added is very low. We can say that this feature misses the official goal.
