Has anyone been able to flash the firmware for the gold gridseed miners? It is my understanding that the red ones had a white button to depress to complete the flashing process, but I don't see that on the gold version. Is this even possible? I'm attempting to use the Uart1_Miner_FW_Ver01140116_20140116.bin firmware with the GD MCU ISP Programmer.

my gold unit has a white button

I saw a gold button when I took the unit apart, but pressing it didn't seem to do anything to help the flashing process. I even tried holding it down before plugging in usb per the flash instructions, but that didn't work either.

Have you been able to flash yours?

yeah i was able to flash mine.. the white button depresses, and flashing with the button pressed in worked.. it still has issues though, i think my version was the version before they were stable and took out the white button.. as sometimes if the difficulty is low and it hashes fast it will stop hashin in about 24 hours and just sit there detecting new block after new block without submitting anything

Any more experiences with flashing the firmware? How do you check what firmware version the GS is currently running?
