 I wanted to make this a sticky thread for Newbies, like myself, that have just heard of this bitcoin business and are looking for basic info and the how to get started & etc.

There's a little stuff on Wiki, but not nearly enough.

So, board gods, please make this thread a sticky and the rest of you, future visitors as well as myself will appreciate greatly having a good intro thread easy to find~
