How to prove a website offline status?

I'm being asked to prove I tried to log into a certain website by a deadline (last Sunday), but the website was offline.
I should have done a screen capture at that time, but I didn't.

It's in my history, but I don't see any specific times, and don't know how that could support my case.

Now it has become an issue - how can I prove this website was not working at that time?

Could you ping it? Using cmd/terminal or whatever. Just open CMD and type "ping websitename.com"

Yes, but only the most recent date/time shows up, since I visited that website recently.
