Ok so i tried to put the block chain on a RamDisk with a symbolic link With Windows 7 and it crashes on various coins Sad
Any of you tried that ?

It crashes on the c++ run time i see in my event viewer too..

I was curious to see if it would speed up some stuff i tend to leave wallets going all the time but do brief shut downs.
and the Ramdisk i am trying can do auto saves to a disk when ever you want so i am not worried about losing data.

I took out my fast SSD out of my main PC and i am running two Sata 3 / WD Black 1TB HDD's (not raid) and toying with a USB3 drive that has nice specs.
edit: and shit loads of wasted ram i never use that cost a ton of money LOL

anyway it seems like a run time error with all the windows QT clients Sad
any thoughts ? Is there a way to specify 'the' roaming path via commandline or something on the typical wallets ?
edit2: i tried putting blockchain files in the coin .exe folder but they didn't get recognized (like i figured)
