Swarm, a crowdfounding platform on Counterparty, just got listed on Poloniex. Coinmarketcap has included Swarm as well, and the market cap is currently at USD 820.000. The trade volume is only a couple hundred dollars on both Poloniex and the DEx so this figure should be taken with a large grain of salt.
Swarm had an IPO earlier this summer where they raised bitcoins to fund development, while their investors got Swarm shares in return. This share gives a cut of every future crowdfunding on the Swarm platform. The first project has all ready been launched, the Hunt for Satoshi Comic Book, and owners of Swarm were rewarded with COMICBOOK tokens. It’s supposedly backed by intellectual property rights but it remain to be seen what this really means.
