I purchased something 2-3 weeks ago outside of ebay. Due to hussle and bussle I didnt get to inspect the item really until a day or two ago, upon inspecting it, it is definetly not as described and has damage, damage that make it unsable without putting money into it. I documented everything and took a shit ton of pictures. The seller pretty much told me to fuck off. I filled a dispute and I didnt send the payment of gift. I have proof that he listed Item in X condition and it isnt in that condition. Can anyone that has been through this before give me some info on how to help my case or what the usual outcome is in situations like this?

sometimes you need to settle it with your own hands. You can pay the seller a visit and document the whole incident and then call the cops, trust me Paypal is not already good today their service went very poor

Interesting, because you havent paid the extra 10% with ebay you have a different level of insurance here.  I dont fancy your chances for a quick and smooth resolution tbh.   Its your word against his no? i should imagine you'd get your money back in many months time if you can present a good case.

Dispute it in your credit card, you will automatically win in paypal but paypal may limited your account. If you dispute it on paypal you have 50 50 chance.
