hi everyone,
I'm from melbourne and have been traveling in and out of china for the past few months. I believe that electricity is going to be the major factor in bitcoin mining as the world pump up the hashrate. So i've been looking for alternative sources of cheap electricity in china.
I have a small mining farm in shenzhen. Recently, we've partnered with a hydro power company to offer cheap and green electricity to large mining farms. I can't give your the electricity rate yet, but it should be anywhere between $0.3 to $0.6 rmb.
We are still in the beta stage, so I'm just gauging the interest from the ground. If you are
a) currently providing mining hosting or has very high hashrate ( a few hundred to peta hashes), would you consider the possibility of moving your operations to china with cheaper electricity?
b) investing in large scale mining farms, would you consider building your farm in china running hydro power?
I am pretty open to options and more than happy to meet in real. Any ideas/suggestions welcomed.
cheers, bernard
