I recently purchased a script from this thread
Code:
 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=718910.0
and the demo site worked well, but the script he sent does not.

Now i've contacted him over the course of a week and he was nearly instantly replying to all messages when i was inquiring about buying the script, but now that the script has issues
he's all but disappeared.. Disclaimer i have been getting 1 sentence replies that decline my requests to instant chat and talk about the code, and he says he's "working on it" but it's also happened
to another person who purchased the code.

My proposal is if someone with decent knowledge in php/javascript wants to look-over the code, and fix the issues i would be more than willing to pay the cost of the work/labor.

Due to this being someone elses script and the sake of the creator i would prefer someone higher than a full member that does not plan to illegally resell the code. (i feel that is wrong)

Anyone below that do not even ask (sorry nothing personal, i just want to protect the creator best i can)

The issues are minute but enough to make the whole thing not worth loading, i have a server and will open up full ssh/ftp access to and a test mysql db for you to test it out on and will explain the issues afterwards.

some info on them is emulated cron jobs, and linking javascript actions.

Thanks

I have a few questions. How big is the code and what exactly doesn't work. I might be able to help if you are a bit more specific.

Altogether about 2.5MB. not very big, What doesn't work is the Hit/Stand functions. It links those 2 actions to the gameAction javascript function in the main.js file but i've looked through there and fixed a few syntax errors and nothing yet. Also an issue with the emulated cron he setup to check for deposits but i have no knowledge on emulated cronjobs... It worked even when the hit/stand functions didn't work so i assume it's just a syntax error in that file that's causing the cronjob not to read.

That's just a novice looking through it learning on the way.

For Javascript debugging, open the browser console and look at the errors (ctrl+shift+k in Firefox).
What OS are you running it on? On RHEL/CentOS the webserver is blocked from making calls to other servers by default.
Also, tail your httpd errorlog to see what's wrong.
