Coincreator help with STATUS: WAITING GENESIS status

I needed a coin right away and i kinda used the cheatsheet of development coincreators I have tons of projects going around with the coinclone which was why the clone was the first thing that was needed on the list. If anyone had this before I made the coin sha256 I just need the to start mining so i can put it onto the website given and work around it. Im not new to programming with C but I am new to bitcoin development and right now I have no linux OS just windows which was why i didn't want to go threw the sources. Thanks in advance.
