The antminer s3 is a good place to start for sure.
In my experience, the evga power supplies have worked better for my mining farm with thermaltake taking 2nd place. If you are going to get the Antminer S3+, consider getting a higher wattage PS, so you can run more than 1 antminer on that power supply. I run 3 antminer S3's on a EVGA G2 1300W power supply.
That way you can grow your farm over time...

Would the corsair 750W be sufficient to run 2 antminer S3+ or it's quite close to it's limits? (just wondering if the PSU will be sufficient if I decide to get a 2 ANTMINER S3+ )

It's probably pretty close to the limit on that with running two, your mileage may vary though. You wouldn't be able to overclock them though for sure.

Thanks Guys I will buy them via http://www.112bit.com/ . Has anyone bought any kit via this page? Also looking at the pools it seems that there are lots of pools you can join. Any personal recommendation? (I would assume we want a pool that is stable and has small fees). How about https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=763510.0?

I cant believe no one tell the OP that he will lose money
but of course it seems people in this thread want to sell their useless s3 so they don't tell op that its actually broken, and that OP will only throw his money away.
Anyway OP, if you buy the S3, you will lose money, so you know, you'd better give this money to charity or something, instead of feeding ANTMAIN manufacturer that is mining against you.
seriously

Thanks for the feedback
Why do you believe s3 is "useless"? Can you provide a better ASIC device?

Because most every mining calculator predicts that you will never mine enough coins with the S3 to make a profit. Ultimately it's your call on what you wish to do; however, most would advise you to take the money you were going to spend on a miner and use it instead to buy BTC directly and hold.

an S3+ will hash at 453Gh/s so according to the calculator below (exchange rate 467.33US to bitcoin) https://alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculatorit will make sense (not sure how much you can trust bitcoin calculators though)

You have to take into account the fact that you won't get it until sometime after the 20th of this month.

It's the assumptions the calculators make. You won't make a profit with an S3+ unless difficulty stops going up essentially. The next increase is going to be about 14%. At that rate you will only make back 60% of your investment with moderate electricity rates.

An ASIC it is not a magic box who can spill out digital currency and make you rich in couple months. Look at the price of the Bitcoin too, the BTC market it is the most volatile market. If you are not ready to spend (=to risk) couple thousands and buy some hashing power of TH/s magnitude, better consider to purchase directly Bitcoins. The safest investment ever.

When you will get the item shipped it will be old. When they build your S3+ before ship it to you they will probably use it to mine for themself until is profitable and after this time they will send it to you.
