I have been thinking that one of the first killer sidechains could be one to store and show text, html and images (web on a sidechain). Bitcoin micropayments could be used to keep spammers out and reward the readers who maintain the chain (writers pay, just like you pay for web hosting). Thoughts and/or implementation ideas?

You didn't read one paragraph of the sidechain paper... Plus this https://github.com/bitpay/foxtrot will handle a decentralized web not a sidechain. Unless you wanted to create a DNS inside a sidechain, but even then I rather use foxtrot as it actually secures the  communicate independent of any 3rd party.
