I have 3 black war machines from GAWminers (which are some sort of special zeus miner with 256 chips) that don't hash anywhere near 54 mh/s... more like around 30.  If you have a black war machine that you've been able to get hashing using either cgminer or bfgminer, please let me know what version of cgminer or bfgminer you are using and your config. I've had all sorts of advice and tried all sorts of versions of cgminer and bfgminer and so far, no good results above 35 Mh/s.  For some reason, GAW is sending out this miners instead of the white war machines, but no one seems to be able to get them mining.

If you have a black war machine and you can point me to the version of cgminer (or bfgminer) you are using and what your starting command is and you get around the 54mh/s hashing rate, I'll send you 0.1BTC.

I've also posted on hashtalk, no suggestions there worked at all.
https://hashtalk.org/topic/3931/cgminer-and-a-war-machine-help-needed/9

Tried these miners, so don't bother suggesting them unless you have a black war machine from GAW with success.
Code:
http://hub.gawminers.com/author/jmordica/ (3.1.1)
https://github.com/dmaxl/cgminer/releases (4.3.5)
https://zeusminer.com/user-manual-ver-1-0/ (The special X6 and the v3 versions)
http://luke.dashjr.org/programs/bitcoin/files/bfgminer/4.5.0/ (4.5 and the latest version)

Yeah, I've done this below, so don't suggest it...
Code:
- I'm NOT using 8 pins for the pci-e connectors.
- I'm using the recommended power supplies (Dual EVGA G2 1300 watt)
- I've tried other power supplies as a test, no change
- I've tried multiple black war machines with the same result
- I've got the right USB driver loaded
- Swapped out PCI-3 cables
- I'm using 8 individual PCI-E connectors, not sharing any plugs.
- There are no loose cables or disconnected boards, etc (remember I have 3 units to test from), and yes, I checked the boards and cables.
- I've tried swapping out computers and changing the USB cables
- I've tried multiple pools, including just a single pool (LTC or DOGE).
- Supposedly these units were hashing while hosted at GAW at 54 mh/s
- No, GAW hasn't answered my support tickets asking for help, Yes, I emailed Josh and Amber, No I still have a working solution.

Hi. You may have a power problem.

I have a gawminer warmachine - it was a pain in the ass to get going.

1. Are both of your PSUs plugged into the same circuit?  Try plugging them in separate circuits.

2. I use 256 chip and 328 frequency on a Zeusminer controller image

3. Try using the Zeusminer controller image, sorry know it's not what you want to hear.  It sounds like you're hashing on a ThunderX miner.

Thanks for the reply...

1) They are plugged into different circuits that are also metered and not exceeding the circuit.
2) I've tried 256 chip and 328 frequency, but not on a controller image.
3) I have not tried a raspberry pi controller yet, but may have to get one to try it.  I'm afraid i'd get stuck in the same boat though with "try this image" or "that image".

I've been told that the thunder x6 has 4 boards, these have 8 boards inside. Gaw appears to be shipping out Lightning X6's instead of the war machines they advertise on the site, this page desscribes exactly what I'm seeing: http://cryptomining-blog.com/3210-review-of-the-zeusminer-lightning-x6-scrypt-asic-miner/

I'm asking for a refund if they can't provide some instructions for getting this unit to hash up to 50mh/s, otherwise it's clearly bait and switch.

Yeah, I'm thinking about posting an official "scam accusation" in the scam thread against GAWMiners with proof of sales receipts and packing slips and PM's from Josh and Amber at GAW.  I've asked for a refund, who knows what will happen.

Some type of prototype they shipped you?
I guess they rather host the new white one themself and then ship these older ones out.
Kind of ridiculous when the most honest guys in this industry are the chinese...

I have no idea exactly what's gone on behind the scenes.  I want to believe that someone mistakenly shipped the wrong product. However, the pessimistic side of me says they are sending these out to customers because the white units hash at higher speeds so they use those for the hashlets.

Heh exactly, never had a problem with my bitmain orders... that's the irony, I'm in the US, order from a US company have nothing but troubles.

They make lower energy usage one now too. It sounds like you got shipped one of those kinds. If it a mix up i'm sure they will correct it. I've never had issues with them when it came to refunds etc.

Look at his pic its a 4 fan WarMachine chassi all the other have 3 fans in front and the power connections in the back.
I guess they shipped him their black prototype sheeps..
Please update us with GAWminers response this can be interesting..
Or is it in fact a experimental "double X6" or  a "X12" they shipped by mistake, the hashrate matches 2x X6..
Is it a GAW in a ZEUS chassi!?
After all he did order a GAW and got a ZEUS..

Well BFL did not exactly live up expectations.. Angry
KNC kept me waiting for to long i belive Undecided
Bitmain.. WOW!! 4 days and DHL was here with the miners. Kiss
