Why is it that sometimes my deposits takes more than 10 confirmations?

The number of confirmations required for your deposits is picked by the site. Some sites ask for just 1 confirmation while some need 3, 6 and 7.
AFAIK, I don't recall seeing a site asking for 10+ confirmations, so it is likely the site was having some lag during the time.
