But seriously the wallets that have those balances don't tend to move to often or are exchanges so doubt that they knew about it back then lol.

Why would Bin Laden need fiat?
Bin Laden is actually dead so he does not need any money in any capacity.

Other terrorists need to convert whatever assets they have into fiat in order to pay for training and whatever expenses they have that are related to carrying out a terrorist attack against the free world.

Do you have proof that it is indeed own by Al-Qaeda? They may have some bitcoins but mostly they prefer cash. They maybe using the system called hawala http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawala it is tried and tested for many years.
