I have a bunch of unconfirmed transactions (not even 1 confirmation) over the last 3-4 hours.

what's going on?

Are you using blockchain.info wallet? If so, it is because the site is having some problem.

For blockchain.info, the latest block is 321511 which is found over 3 hours ago.
For blockr.io, the latest block is 321532, same as biteasy.com and blockexplorer.com.

what's going on?

Do you have the transaction numbers?  Definitely check somewhere else than blockchain.info.
