Hey all,

Thanks for taking the time to read this, I really appreciate it...but I would be eternally great full if someone could help me out and tell me how I can connect this beautiful little machine up to my Windows 7 PC, so that I can run it with CGMiner and monitor it there.

http://www.eyeboot.com/image/cache/data/Product%20Pictures/T1/img_3543-800x800.png

It came with this Block Erupter Ethernet Controller which hooks directly to your router via ethernet cable. You basically log on via Internet browser by IP address and simply configure it and set it up right there similar to a router when setting up a WiFi password.

Is there a way to hook the Rockminer T1 to a Windows computer instead?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!

You can probably point the BE controller to a machine running bfgminer or cgminer.  Friedcat  posted a quick quide for raspberry pi here:

The T1 miner does not have Raspberry Pi support at the moment and can't be connected directly to a PC. If you find out how to then please let me know.

Here is a guide for setting it up with BE controller:

rewire a UART chord to usb, the uart should have data+ and data - aswell as power and earth, just like usb, you just need to cut an splice the chords together to match and then load up zadig for the driver you want, easy

i would simply point it to cgminet or bfgminer running as a proxy on the windows computer you will get all the info just not see the miner. add -gp 8332 for proxy to listen for getwork on the proxy/windows machine and -sp 3333 for stratum point setup the rest of the windows miner like normal. point your t1 to you windows local ip 192.168.x.x user you user name and password for you pool. start mining and almost everything should show on the proxy
