Binance.com wants you to submit an 'English version passport' in order to become a lv. 2 verified user. They ask for a 'Passport Cover' & 'Passport Personal Page'/

I only have a national ID, would they accept that instead (front & back)? I don't have a passport and it would cost about $150 to get one.

Cheers!

I have id and driver license. The fields should have English names along with local language field names. So they should be able to verify your identity with original local id scan. I haven't tried this myself but this is valid for many countries.

Try submitting your Passport before spend $150 on licences translation.
It should have English values under your national ones. At least all the passports I know have and they are accepted.

My national identity card has both local and English fields on it. I may try that but don't want to fall of the bad side Binance.

@aceptamosbitcoin I don't have a passport at all. Only a national ID. Smiley

This is so weird, national ID should be more valid than passport. Still thinking to try out the platform, I will give Binance a miss.

Up to 2btc per day you don't need any verification.
