A total steal, you can purchase my signature for a 2-week campaign for only 0.0025 WIP, i.e. about 0.5% of the stipend I took for this month and an official parity price of $0.

Since I am chairman of the Federal Reserve of WIP I do reserve the right to refuse based on the text, but if I accept your text you will enjoy advertisement at no cost.

Please see the announcement thread for where to get WIP - or you can receive it from someone who has some already:

Dear Caga,

Sorry about the confusion!   I mean, that you can have use of my signature to help endorse your business, which is called a 'signature campaign' - see http://blog.bitcoinpenguin.com/make-free-bitcoins-bitcointalk-signature-campaign/.

Instead of paying in BTC, payment is in WIP, which has a parity price of $0.   So simply send me the text that you would like me to put in my signature, and if accepted for a transfer of 0.0025 WIP  (parity with $0), which you can get in the WIP announcement thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=896826) I will include it in my signature for the next two weeks.

I hope this answers any of your questions, and I hope to hear from you if you are interested.

Best regards:

Hi, b!z,

As mentioned in the original thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=896826) this is not satire, and you can simply ask for some WIP if you would like to borrow money from the Federal Reserve of WIP.  The current interest rate is 5%, which compares extremely favorably to fixed or slowly-expanding monetary base (decentralized) cryptographic currencies which have substantially higher interest rates and no mechanism for monetary easing.

There are a couple of caveats.

1.  Firstly please note that WIP may currently only be used in transactions with prices of $0, i.e. in a favor-based or gift-based economy.  Its parity price is currently also pegged to $0.

2.  In addition, it is a fiat currency and the Federal Reserve of WIP reserves all rights to rewrite balances or perform any other action in any way it sees fit at any time for any or no reason with complete sovereignty.

3.  Finally, the public ledger is centralized (but off-site backups are retained and verified) and currently updated manually, so there will be a delay of a day or two until wire transfers are committed.  However we hope to introduce several innovative options as time goes on.

I hope this answers some of your questions, and if you would like to explore the benefits of a centralized currency  by the Federal Reserve of WIP, I hope you will keep track of us and watch the public ledger as well.  If you would like some WIP of your own, don't hesitate to PM the Federal Reserve of WIP to borrow some, or you can write to the Federal Reserve of WIP at: federalreserveofwip@gmail.com

Thank you for your interest, and don't hesitate to write with any more question.

Best regards:

Chairman of the Federal Reserve of WIP
