Python Mining Software using the new Getblocktemplate

Hello,

for learning purposes I would like to program my own solo mining software using CPU. (I am aware of that I will never make bitcoins with it).

Nevertheless, is there already a simple Solo Python Mining software out which I can use as basis using the new Getblocktemplate ? I was not able to find somthing else then PyMiner which
is rather old.

Any help is appreaciated.
