You don't download a blockchain to use the Stellar client. You access it through a browser without downloading a blockchain and Ripple works the same way. Don't ask me how it works though.

MaidSafeCoin has no blockchain.
PS Adding in the launch-date of the blockchain would be a useful metric too.

Ripple's size is hard to define, since data is typically stored compressed by servers.
On mine: About 110gb transactions, about 350gb nodes (which would be equivalent to a historic database of utxos in bitcoin). Nodes are compressed though, I'd estimate by now there's about a TB of node data out there if uncompressed, give or take.
The reason this is so large is that on ripple you can not only send but also trade - so a lot of data is about offers and not only about payments.
Because of this size, wallets are typically "lite" (e.g. like electrum) and get their data from a server.

Yup, thankfully Bitfreak has developed a mini blockchain in his coin Cryptonite (XCN). Along with withdrawal limits and unmalleable transactions. Too bad it goes unnoticed but that may be a good thing for now.
