First time posting,
I've been "trolling"? these forums for quite some time now and I have a dumb question...
Am I a troll if I've never spoke up, instead just trying to learn where things are heading?
I feel strange watching all these "clairvoyant" posts about the demise of BTC vs "the moon". It seems to be getting increasingly difficult to find meaningful, informative discussions here. Is this due to most people speaking out are "traders"? and simply not good at it? Also, why would the "failllings" of this place be so determined to spout doom on a daily basis? How does this help them?...certainly can't be for "cheap coins"...or could it? I didn't think anyone would spend that much time trying to save us all from the evil pyramid scheme that is Bitcoin, so why does he/they try so hard?
I never paid more than $125 for ANY BTC and I GUESS that kinda make me an early adopter...I watched MY cheap coins go from $40-$70 all the way up to $1200 and now back down to the $300s and I've never gotten so uptight about it. Yes, I DO have what I consider a substantial amount of coin but I'm a firm believer and whether BTC goes "to the moon" or not, there is no question that its a better system and will eventually be at the very least the defacto currency of the internet!
Ok, I feel better now that I FINALLY made an effort to ask a few questions...any and all HONEST, OBJECTIVE opinions are very much welcome...but first..AM I A TROLL? lol

btw...I stumbled across BTC when the feds decided US shouldn't be gambling online for real money...got "stuck" with some BTC from Seals with clubs poker site and now I'm trying VERY hard to just "not think about BTC" for a few months at a time...more fun that way.
I fell into the mining trap and even now I've got a small farm working the altcoins and changing em in for BTC.
I'm one of the few lucky ones that actually made my roi (could have had a TON more if I had just bought and sold etc but I know squat about the money market in general.
Done rambling now..thanks for listening and thanks in advance for any intelligent answers to any of my questions, I really WOULD like to be more involved here, but wading through the zealots and the naysayers is a daunting task indeed HA!

No you're not a troll.

Welcome to the forum but don't let the bear and bull trolls intimidate you with their arrogant condescension, their focus on being right all the time, and smug dismissal of anyone who doesn't subscribe to their brand of TA orthodoxy as koolade drinking cultists..

Try to ignore their gloating over others' wrong predictions and rejoicing over any failure of Bitcoin itself that reinforces their own egos.

You can learn here. You can also be led very far astray.

LMAO...ok, so I have been accepted into the troll folds? HA!
I'll keep posting long and sometimes silly questions in search of truths, but I will NEVER become neither a spokesman for spreading FUD OR make unfounded claims about where I see this wonderful thing we call the blockchain headed Smiley
I AM, however, intrigued at the thought of submitting a truly thought provoking rant just to score some Christmas Troll-love
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
be easy buddy...glad to have "met ya" Smiley

ps...was that long enough? hehe

If you are a troll, then I'd say, so far, you're doing good. The bad trolls are obvious (flamers at best), the best trolls are undiscovered.  Wink

"... the evil pyramid scheme that is Bitcoin, ..." -- OP

Imagine that it was Nigerian scammers that had invented e-mail and they used it to scam all the early adopters. Some people would claim that e-mail is a pyramid scheme in the aftermath. Could e-mail have survived such a rocky start?

@pitbully2000

I think the proper term would be "Lurker" not "Troll". (ie.....The member pitbully2000 has been "lurking" around these threads for months.)

Listen: meat beat manifesto ~ Edge of no control (pt.1)
Read:"He who controls the past controls the future. He who controls the present controls the past." ~ George Orwell

I was going to say that, but then I decided to do some trolling instead.  Wink  Grin
