So I donated to United way Via BTC.  My work can get credit for this for our total donations for the year.

I have the trans ID alas United Way does not tie their name to their pay address.. does anyone know if they keep a history of these transactions..?

They are required to keep records of all donations.

Typically charities are happy to issue receipts for charitable donations, ask for one?

For the next time you give.. I believe their site shows confirmation of a donation in a popup screen. Maybe you can take a screen shot of that and print it out.  Would that show enough information to give to your company for credit?

Since United Way uses Coinbase, you have significantly more confirmation from Coinbase if you donate with an account there.
