One time I was up on the top of this isolated hill. I gave a guy $40 after he asked me for some change. 365 days later (one year) I was in the same city as the hill and the voice inside-ish my head said to go back to the same place and play the guitar and sing. I took BIG RED with me and went and played and someone said "I don't know why, but here's two Andrew Jacksons!"

 Shocked

#1 - the hill was ISOLATED: to be detached or alone. With two people there it was most certainly not.

#2 - this story is asymptotically similar, or, as close to impossible as you could desire it to be. The more you would desire it to be impossible, the more it would be.

If you knew what I looked like, you would agree such a thing was very improbable!

This happened to me recently.  I was at a coffee bar and I saw an attractive woman that I immediately recognized as the owner of a restaurant I sometimes frequent.  She smiled at me and said hello and I said hello back as we recognized each other from the restaurant.  I then saw her husband which I also recognized as a former coworker of mine from over a decade ago.  He recognized me as well.  So I knew the husband and the wife from different places and I didn't know that they knew each other.

But here comes the weird part.  I started asking the husband about the office we used to work at and he started getting a confused look on his face.  Apparently he didn't remember that we were coworkers.  But we were.  And then I asked how he recognized me if he didn't remember we were coworkers?  He said he knew me from the restaurant he owns with his wife.  I was confused.  "You saw me at the restaurant?" I asked.  He said yes.  Now I'm thinking how come I didn't recognize him at the restaurant?  So we both remembered each other but we remembered each other from different places.  Twilight Zone moment.
