Mining with just a laptop isn't going to make you all that much. I suggest you try reading a couple of guides to get your head around cloud mining.

I say you should try mining online. It is called cloud mining. There are some great websites out there for that.
For example: LtcGear, GAWminers, Genesis-Mining, i actually gave a try to iHash today, (they just opened)
