I just recently reformatted my laptop and I am on Xubuntu 14.10 beta2 and I install Electrum by the instructions on the website. The program will start and no matter what of the 3 start options I select it just gives me the error message no seed. I cannot figure out what is causing this. Any help is greatly appreciated. I would like to generate a new wallet.
I understand but try importing a seed. You can do it via creating one in adroid and copy the seed and delete all the files in android regarding electrum and then import the seed from your computer. I hope it works!
