Hello mates,
There is 2 weeks since I joined alt community, I used to spend btw on different websites if u see what i mean Cheesy
I don't want to choose a coin to invest in, I already placed my heart in CANN which is a very nice coin in my opinion. I would like to learn how to make some day trade benefits to invest more in it. Also, I wanna start using my brain for something useful, I'm not a retard I know it and it makes me sick that I have to work at Mc Donald to have a decent life (I'm a right student, not very profitable indeed).

Anyway, if I'm making this topic this is because, even if I learned a lot lately, I still don't get some points about what is called day trading.
Which parameters do you watch while watching on bittrex in the first, second and third page of coins ?
The volume is constantly moving, how can I be sure that a coin with a shitty volume isn't going to attract some whales 2 minutes laters ?
Even if I closely, when there is a high volume, check the history of the coin (is the coin having a high price compared to the beginning ? And then ppl already have made benefits which means a reduces increase of the price) and the sell resistance (which go along with the price, am I wrong ?) but I never really know the moves…

I read that I should always watch volume movements, but I do not understand how the volume (which is the volume of trades) can help me. What means the volume ? How the 24h volume is supposed to help me ?
For example, when I look at the pyramid coin chart (simple example : https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-PYRA ) I can see a 19 btc volume the 30th october without any huge modification of the price, what should I deduce ? How am i supposed to know if the 19 BTC volume means if the btw were moved out of the market or in the market ? (I'm also open to every website or application that can help me better than bittrex does, what do you use ?)
You see, this is exactly this kind of basics that i'm missing and learning is pretty hard since i'm not a native english speaker but I would like to improve in crypto anyway, english will follow.

Hope you guys could help me,
I'm a simple beginner who wants to learn more about it.

Thanks to everyone who helps me, that is very kind of you and will make me improve a lot. (I already have improved a lot since I began, I want this to keep going).

CANN is a scam, it's like somebody giving you money for free, same as URO.Not that expensive to give away pot in a single store only for medical reasons to
convince thousands to buy your coin.
There are a lot of coins and not that many pumpers-whales these days. Coins usually pump when they are released or when
there is news- releases coming if there's enough interest but it won't happen everytime. Day trading means buy and selling the coin within a few hours.
Volume means total buys+sells, it shows people are interested and trading that coin, coins that are pumping have volume.
You should try to learn at least some Technical Analysis if want to have a shot at making money, which is not that easy in right now.

There are technical analysis threads here, but they are mostly about bitcoin. You can find them in the speculation part of this forum.

Yep indeed I read your post.
The problem is that i'm not rich, not at all. I'm not here to complain but I don't have enough money to buy such things...
That could have been nice indeed, maybe later if I make some succesful trades.

But guys, is it very important to be a positiv person in trading ? Because I'm actually the exact opposite...

if you think you are likely to loose you are likely to make bad trades is what i have observed.

Sure, funds is always a problem.
Most of what i know is learned from experience. Learn from experience always costs at first. I'd recommend in your case to make good financial management. Never risk too much, never be too sure Wink

Visualise your own success. Only make a trade when you almost 100% know it has to be a good one. Don't go too big in the first year. And most iimportant: if you lost money analyse why and learn from mistakes.
If you made a mistake learn from it or you will repeat it.

Trust nobody. There  is a lot of pigs here that wear a lot of makeup and lipstick. Many lies and illusion. Don't be fooled by nice graphics. Only invest in the best. GL  Wink

Wait for the coin before you buy it and not after that. Never forget to take profit  Wink

TA works best on BTC/USD. In altcoins you have also to do a lot of DYOR. Who is behind a coin, block rewards/ mining schedule, roadmap ...

Even with bitcoin I found TA does not always work. Sometimes the experts in the TA threads get it right, but not always.

TA works for alts on bigger timeframes(1h+), maybe better than on BTC because nobody is aware of it and less likely to be manipulated against you.
