the TRC developers have potentially implemented asic immunity, but it goes into effect in 2 blocks with a pretty high difficulty from the last asic 51% attack, and miners are being scared off because it'll take another 12 hours.  if anyone could spare an hour mining TRC please let me know I'll hook you up with a little btc if you get us out of this. 

I don't mean to spam I am just seeing that we don't have enough mining power to make it over out last hump
