Hello Bitcointalk.org,

I'm a foreign currency trader (forex for short) it just seemed natural to want to break into the cryptocurrency markets. Being somewhat new to cryptocurrency I'm a active member of only 1 exchange Cryptsy.com. Cryptsy has been awesome with everything their support is great, transactions are filled within a timely manner, and sending/receiving coins is easy even for a newbie. The problem is I'd like to find an exchange which offers new coins on a more regular basis. Thus far cryptsy has been vary picky with which coins get added to the exchange which can be both a positive and negative for investors.

So here's the question does any exchange offer more coins or add new coins on a more regular basis when compared to cryptsy?

Short answer is no, there's alot of junk coins out there, but cryptsy and coins-e usualy take a shoot well in advance of the main exchanges

If your a currency trader, why not trade currency futures - a lot more money to be made in that game

With all the alts you have to find the best exchange for alt in question. Cryptsy, Coin-e, mcxnow.com all have their best traded coins.

I'm not sure where your information is coming from, but it is without a doubt completely incorrect. Any amount of money can be made from any market as long as you have sufficient capital to back up the corresponding trade sizes. The forex market offers more leverage which means you can effectively trade larger amounts of money with less margin more risk = more reward. IMHO the futures market's only advantage is the ability to trade commodities instead of currencies such as oil, gold, silver, corn and so on. As stated above I am a currency trader not a commodity trader so none of the rest is of any interest to me personally.

bittrex.com

craptsy sucks. Its slow to accept deposits and locks wallets for weeks on end with no explanation. Bittrex is also a lot easier to navigate.

If you like my post please feel free to give me some positive rep https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=18639

Bter is a good quality exchange but if you wany an exchange that adds (and quickly removes) loads of (mostly) shit coins each week then bittrex is more suitable. However, there is talk the US governments's SEC might prosecute Bittrex for hosting sales of unregistered securities because of the IPOs it hosts.

Bittrex tends to add more coins than most if that's what you're looking for.  However, it's a double edged sword.  The more coins an exchange adds the more potential there is for bad investments to sneak in the mix.

Be careful and do research before buying into coins.  The hyped coin of the day isn't always what it seems.
