I am having a problem with armory not getting up to date with the network. The program seems to work fine but when I tried to send btc it would not add the transaction to the network. I tried to rebuild and rescan but that didn't help any. I sent some btc to an address I had in armory and it did pick up the transaction but it would not confirm at all (stayed at 0 confirms).

After trying a few things I looked up the address that held the btc and it has already been used. My btc was stolen a few months back and I thought that my armory btc was still there but after looking up the address on blockchain info website I found that they had been stolen also. Armory still shows them in my wallet I figure that is because armory says last block received was 7 months ago.

I have tried letting armory load bitcoin qt but it still will not catch up.
I have done a factory reset
I have tried rebuild and rescan within armory
I tried sending coins to an armory address
I load bitcoin qt default program with out using armory and every thing is up to date
I have updated Armory and bitcoin qt to the latest versions

Armory is stuck on block 293751 it says connected and is in green. Armory is says it is online.

I think i have covered all of the important info if not just ask for more.

Thank you for your time

It sounds like you moved your Bitcoin home directory 7 months ago to a new datadir, and didn't tell Armory about the new location using --satoshi-datadir.  It's reading the old leftover blockchain files.

If you are letting Armory run Bitcoin for you, then you can point to the correct directory in the Armory settings.  Otherwise you have to use the --satoshi-datadir argument in the command line.

Thank you for  the help. I ran this command with run "explorer %APPDATA%\Bitcoin" it pulled up this file C:\Users\nama\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin

I think that covers your last instructions. If I am wrong just let me know. Is there some other way of me finding the directory that bitcoin qt is using?

Well I got it working right. Not sure if i lost my bitcoin client wallet.dat but I am leaning towards yes its lost.

Seems that it was an issue with my datadir. What I did to get it working correctly was I added this line to my bitcoin short cut "-datadir=C:\BitCoinData". Then I opened bitcoin wallet and let it make the files it needed. I then closed it after about 1 min or so and copied my C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin files to C:\BitCoinData file. I opened bitcoin wallet again for about another 1 min to make sure everything was working right. I am not sure I did that right but bitcoin wallet did say the data was bad and it needed to rebuild. I let it start then closed it when it had started downloading blocks. I then opened Armory and pointed it to C:\BitCoinData using file>settings checked let Armory load bitcoin. Let it run for the night and it is all up to date now.

Just to top it off I found them btc I thought I had lost Grin

My bad if the last post sounded rude that was not my intent. I was on my lunch break and trying to put down my thoughts way too fast. I do value the time and knowledge you gave me. Thank You.

Great Job on the Armory program I love it. It was worth every cent of btc I donated.

Not sure on how to mark this as solved but it is to me. Thanks all.
