Hello.

I bought a bfl single sc (60ghs) on ebay for 25$.
althought it will take some time till i get the money back, which isn't important for me because i just want to mine for fun.
well, it comes without the psu. so i want to ask which atx psu i should get.
i dont think to expand it. but the main probleme i have is, that the original psu has an output of 13v instead of 12v of an atx psu.
will it still be ok? and which min. wattage should i get then? or simply search for an original psu from ebay?
thanks :3

anything > 350w and you will have some headroom.

however... the BFL singles are no longer profitable, I understand that you are mining for fun so it's OK, but you will be spending more on electricity than the box will mine. Unless, of course, BTC price takes a jump.

ok thanks Smiley

no worries, i still have 2 running here at home, winter is coming in and these space heaters were pretty well designed to be no-hassle miners.
I actually run mine using an EVGA 1600 80+ which may seem a bit excessive, but while I wait for my SP20 to arrive, i might as well put it to use! lol

normally I just run 1 x BFL single on a CM500.

the better rated PSU you use, the better efficiency (at the wall) you will get.

best luck with your mining endeavours!

Thanks man Smiley

May im gonna use my old Block erupter as additional foot heater with the single sc? xD

what ampere rate should the 12v rail have? heard they consume 240-260 watt, that should be more than 22 ampere on the 12v rail, or?
