Hello, I have some questions regarding BIP 0010 ( https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0010.mediawiki )

For one thing the github links at the end of the wiki is dead

https://github.com/etotheipi/BitcoinArmory/blob/qtdev/armoryengine.py
https://github.com/etotheipi/BitcoinArmory/blob/qtdev/armoryengine.py#L4704
https://github.com/etotheipi/BitcoinArmory/blob/qtdev/armoryengine.py#L5095
https://github.com/etotheipi/BitcoinArmory/blob/qtdev/armoryengine.py#L5143

I searched for this PyTxDistProposal class in Armory but it doesn't seem to exist anymore? I understand that the "Lockbox" functionality in Armory is supposed to utilize BIP 0010, but from what I can gather the file format seems to be different from what is specified in the wiki since it asks for some file that starts with =====TXSIGCOLLECT which is not mentioned in the wiki. Has BIP0010 been abandoned by the Armory team? Or is the wiki just out of date. Thanks.

I think BIP 10 is pretty much dead. As far as I know Armory was the only software to implement it, and at this point it moved to away from it because it no longer met all their needs.

Yea, that's what I figured, I created a pull request to update the status of BIP 0010 so future developers don't get confused.

https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/pull/125

It would be very nice if the Armory people could release a new BIP explaining how they are handling things now. I think some kind of consistency in the way different applications handle multisig signature distribution would be really nice to have. There are a lot of apps now using multisig, but there is no way for them to communicate with each other.
